Congratulations to this week's Featured Stamper, DJRants! It was hard to single out one beauty to try from her gorgeous gallery of work, but I finally settled on her Father's Day Forest.
Instead of an embossed background, I made my version as a stamped stair-step fold card and added a red cardinal to one of the trees.
Thanks, DJ, for your endless inspiration!!

Oh my gosh, those birch trees are outstanding! At first glance, I thought it was designer paper! You chose one of DJ's cards that I considered as well~ what a beautiful creation you have made with her card as inspiration.

Beautifully done card, Lynn. I like how you spotlighted the central position of your card with the oval frame...really draws the eye to the stag, the cardinal and the birches.

Wow, Lynn, this is just gorgeous, and I love the depth and dimension you created in this beautiful scene. Just seeing that little cardinal reminds me of that little saying, everytime you see a cardinal you catch a glimpse of God. Inspiring.

Great bg! Love this card. I actually thought about casing the one you did but knew I couldn't make it work - you did an excellent job! Hugz
