This was for my niece's Sweet 16. I wanted to copy her in her dress. I used the face shape from Aurora and put it on Lorrena's body, free-handing the hair.
I colored Lorrena's skirt then put netting over it (sorry, apparently I didn't take a photo without the wrinkles!). I found a piece of shimmery paper and used that for the bodice.
I also hand embossed the quilting on the vellum and applied liquid pearls in the cross-sections. Funny enough, unknown to me at the time, her cake was the same color and had a layer with quilting and pearls and another layer with edible glitter!
My niece insisted I bought this card, lol.

I'm supposed to be working but couldn't resist leaving just one more comment. This is so touching and I suspect, very personal for your niece. I bet she saved this very special birthday greeting from you. Even the envelope is gorgeous.
