I made two cards today, because I've been dying to use my free stamp of the month from From the Heart Stamps. How cute is this lucky little birdie? I really love their progressive Free Stamp of the Month Challenge: http://fromtheheartstamps.com/commun...ky-lil-birdie/
For this handwriting, I went with a brush calligraphy style using my Tombow markers and added in a little bit of dotted shading. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else's handwriting today! Speaking of handwriting, I get all my tips and tricks from this website: http://bydawnnicole.com/
I had such fun coloring this and I loved the way it came out that I decided to leave it really CAS to let the image shine. This is going to my best friend's daughter for her first birthday--they're very Irish and I think this is a perfect fit!

Well, you've seen that I went for something intended only as background and not as a feature. I do admire people who can write so beautifully! I would have thought this was a stamp, if not for the challenge. And the way you've shaded it is really super. Top marks to you - and what a sweet chick. I'd better go and shove the shamrock my greengrocer gave me in some water before it wilts - you've reminded me of that with this sweet card.
