For the Challenge Calling All Foodie's, I made this Apron, for my son in law who is chef in one of best French restaurants it's his birthday in Mai so I had still a little time but when I saw the challenge I knew I would make this.
I used a template to fussy cut 2 aprons and glued them together at the upside. I fussy cut a smaller piece to fit out of design paper ,I used 2 die cuts to make the pocket I stamped the French table and chair and the sentiment on the pocket I glued a ribbon and printed the French texte which says: what do we eat tonight? answer: Chicken!!

As a cook myself, I just love this, it made me smile so much. The little chicken is so sweet. It also reminded me of our trip to Paris before Christmas: one evening we weren't very hungry and would have been content just to get frites ( chips to us, fries to Americans), but when we went to a little cafe near Notre Dame where we had had good ones before on another visit, it was closed :-(. So we went into a restaurant next door and had the most lovely simple roast chicken and some very crisp and curly fried potatoes. My, that chicken was tasty!!

Oh wow! This is wonderful, your son will be thrilled when it arrives on his birthday. Perhaps you will tell us the name of his restaurant - we may go touring again in the summer!

You created the cutest cards -- how brilliant to make a apron shaped card!! I love this!

Anita, this is so cute and creative. I love how you made this and the sentiment especially with the little chicken in the pocket of the apron. Thank you, for sharing this with us at the F4A challenge.
