I'm your hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and St. Patrick's Day is on my mind. We have just enough time to make a card or two and get them in the mail! So the colors this week are Emerald Envy, Whisper White and Gold. The dessert option is to make a St. Patrick's Day card.
I love making shaker cards! My little girl with her bowl of shamrocks is a digi from Mo Manning. I colored her with Copic markers. The sentiment is computer generated in Emerald Envy ink, and cut with a banner die.
The card base is white, but I wanted the edge to be gold. After mulling over the options, I decided to break out my jar of Inka Gold. What fun that stuff is! I experimented on scrap cardstock, and ended up just rubbing it onto the edge of the card base with my finger. It dries almost immediately, and I like its appearance!
Thanks for stopping by this week, and please play along with us.

Great idea to do a shaker card, Barbara - they are alway so fun and these colors work so well for them! Love your little sassy gal with the shamrocks - she looks like she is up to something!

Fabulous! What a super fun card! I think it's just the most perfect St. Patty's Day card. Also, love your touch of gold on the edge. Brilliant addition!
