I couldn't let March pass and not make a St. Patrick's Day card. Here's another Bordered Sentiment technique card, similar in layout and design to my first one. When I was stamping the background images, I stamped the four-leaf clover and small pool party leaf full strength, but stamped off the flowers (saffron and wisteria) for a muted effect.
I made the shamrock by cutting out three hearts and stamping them with one of the leaves from the Botanical Blooms stamps (a long narrow leaf with lots of ribbed veins). I then sponged along the edges and fluffed up each petal with my bone folder before gluing it together. I cut the stem from a scrap on the desk.
Are you wondering about the Happy St. Patrick's Day sentiment? It's an old Stampin' Up! set called Rainbow's End, retired back in 2000. I think I've had it almost 18 or 19 years.

Wonderful card. Your shamrock is great and so is the very retired sentiment--I think I have it, too. Love the lacey detail and all those wonderful little stamps.
Thanks for sharing.

Terrific! Love the keeping of the St. Patrick's Day theme and the added Springtime feel to it. Nice lacy trim. Love your design. Well done! Into my favs. I might be casing this one. It's beautiful. TFS
