I've had this marvelous hat tag for years and been saving it for the right time. Well Toni's marvelous Ways to Use It challenge is the right time and I can combine it with Cathy's sketch challenge! Hope you'll come play along.
I stamped, colored and fussy cut the bird. Then stamped the bird again on the blue panel and scribbled some lines for the ground. Trimmed the hat from the tag, hand cut and shaded the bow tie. I added the pp strip behind the panel and the sentiment panel to complete. TFL

Oh my goodness, how perfect is this.....crazy bird (don't worry I am typing quietly, he will never know) is really the Cat in a Hat. I bow to your genius Miss Carla, this is as fabulous as it is creative.

This is just so delightful, Carla. Well done on finding your long-hoarded tag which couldn't be more perfect. Into my Favourites with this bird in a hat.

OMGosh this is too cute! Too bad I didn't make cards when my kiddos where young....they LOVED "Cat in the Hat!" So very clever, Carla, to have given your crazy bird his very own Dr. Seuss Hat...too funny, too clever. Who is going to get this lovely?
