This is my card for alpha challenge round 7 letter X and free for all challenge #366. For letter X, I made lots and lots of little X's for my cross stitch rose. I stamped the rose on the back of my cardstock, then laid it on my light box over graph paper. I just sort of guessed at where the colors should be. I first used the fine point on the markers, but wasn't happy with it, so I went over it with the brush tip, and like the amount of color so much better. Up close, it's messy looking and certainly not perfect, but at least it looks like a rose, so I'm happy with it.

Well-worth all the work you put into this - I love how you squared up the outlines of the rose the ipirced around it to make the "stitches" look more real. Beautifully done.

Melody - gorgeous card! I've been trying to figure out how to do something like this but hadn't come to any conclusions of how to do it. I really like how your card turned out. Fabulous!
Amazing the creativity you have as well as knowledge. Very pretty and interesting and yet unusually outside the box. Ms Melody your creating your own technique with this one sweet lady and seem like you still got a little zantangle going eh? Lol awesome job creating this. Mahalo much for all the fabulous details as well.
