Ways To Use It today is It's My Favorite and the challenge is to pick a favorite stamp, technique, paper, anything, and make a card from it. I woke up this morning somewhat down because I am having health issues, and then I looked outside and we had heavy fog. So I made a foggy, rainy scene by stamping with Memento Rich Cocoa a tree line, and then blending TH Distress Picket Fence over the trees to blur them a bit. Distress Pumice Stone all around the image, then Picket Fence over it all again. I spritzed with a mister and then had an image of a perfectly gloomy day. My favorite color is pink, and my favorite image at the moment is TH man with the umbrella, I believe it is called Journey, so I stamped him with Distress Victorian Velvet on my favorite bg and cut him out. I bent him a little at the waist so I could add dimensionals underneath as if he were looking at the trees, and stamped my sentiment in the same Rich Cocoa above a line of Washi tape.
I made this card for me. I'm going to put it on my nightstand so I can see it every day and every night.

Aww I agree with the sentiment!!! Love that with all you going through you still find inspiration from the atmosphere around you and from pure nature. That is a gift you are blessed with sis. Life gives you lemons and you make orange juice! You rock at having the gift of natural beauty that only can come from within oneself!! So glad we are sisters from another mother!!
Edit"... I had to come back to this because I can't stop looking at how this has such beautiful choice of bkg paper and the what looks like reversed embossed white paper that gives off a shiner wintering glow...it's mesmerizing!!

Beautiful and the pink is fabulous! I love that you made this card for yourself and that you're keeping it in a place where you can see it every day. Oh...and the white panel with the trees is so cool!! Sending hugs your way

This is really wonderful and very creative! I love that man with the umbrella, too. Your foggy outdoor scene is fabulous! I make cards that I end up keeping for myself now and then, too ~ we should enjoy our own art : )

Lovely feminine get well card with a vintage feeling. This TH image has always seemed "dreary" to me, but you have made me think differently about it....by eliminating his droopy pants, he has a whole new attitude.
