This is for Lisa's "My Favourite"WT challenge which you will be able to find HERE.
I have to admit I was very slow getting going on this one, but when I thought about what I most like doing, which is creating backgrounds, I pulled out my all-time favourite background stamp from IO and I was out of the gate. Possibly my most used stamp is the sand from Shore Thing.
I sponged a bit of colour onto the card base before embossing the flourishes, and then sponged plenty more on after embossing the flourishes with clear EP. I used mostly mowed lawn, tumbled glass and mustard seed. I also stamped a Hero Arts Script stamp which has almost vanished, and the water splash from French Foliage, and then edged the top and sides with gilding flakes - the "grass" at the bottom is embossed and sanded Core-dinations.
For the bird, I stamped on white card and coloured with gelatos, rubbing them to blend with a baby wipe and my fingers. The sentiment and music notes were stamped on with Rangers Archival.
The leaves were stamped on white card (I used green ink for the leaf on the right) and sponged with distress inks, then fussy cut and mostly popped up with foam.
Fun challenge, Lisa - looking forward to seeing the gallery for this one!

Sabrina your BG is amazing. I love that you created such an amazing BG with your favorites stamps. It really turned out beautiful. The colors and texture really add to this wonderful card. The bird and leaves are a perfect compliment to your wonderful BG. The finishing touch on the edge really dress up your card beautifully. Thank you so much for creating such an fantastic sample card for my challenge.

Lots of lovely detail and inspiration in this card. What an amazing background - with all the swirls the autumn leaves look like they are blowing in the wind. That is a special little bird stamp too.
