Todays CAS challenge was called "I love chocolate" and chocolate needed to be somewhere in your image or colors. I searched for food-related stamps and found very few, til I remembered the cupcake Valentines stamps I recently got (but these are great for all year round).
I stamped the cupcake twice, once on brown cardstock and once on a scrap of green designer paper. I cut out the wrapper from the DP and the top of the cupcake from brown cardstock and put them together to make a chocolate-iced cupcake! Then I stamped the cherry on a piece of white paper and cut it out.
I decided to add glitter glue to my cupcake. I added red to the cherry and what I THOUGHT was clear glitter glue to the icing, then realized it was silver! Ack! I grabbed a toothpick and spread it thinly enough that you can see (hopefully) that it's chocolate under there.
While that dried I stamped the sentiment in the corner of a brown kraft card (I'm all about the kraft cardstock at the moment!) and cut a scrap of cardstock and a scrap of DP (using up Valentine's Day scraps still) and attached them to the card. When my glitter was dry I added the cupcake, using foam tape to pop up the icing and cherry.
Great challenge, TFL!
