This is for Cathy's fun "shaped card" challenge. I began by modifying a really old overalls template.
I completely covered metallic cardstock with a good glue stick, then attached the dp. After drying overnight, I placed the new template on top of the covered card and cut out the front and back.
I distressed around the edges using the edge of my blade, then punched small holes at the shoulder edge and joined the back to the front using twine. Oh before I joined the pieces together, I trimmed all the edges with gorgeous ribbon (RAK from Jody).
I added some faux stitching with a fine brown micron pen and liquid pearl buttons.
Thanks so much for looking, it is great to be back getting inky.

Oh Dear Susie, your fashion style is splendid! Love the DP and also how you used it on the backside. The lace and hand drawn stitches adds to the adorability (is that a word?) of your design!
Welcome back super star!

And it's wonderful to see a card from you in the gallery, I felt that the S notification was quieter than it should be without you ;-). Wow, are these ever pretty! From your description I was expecting work overalls, not something so pretty and feminine. That ruffled lace is a fab trim on the beautiful paper, and I love the lining and pockets in coordinating print.
