This is for the Ways to Use It Challenge – make a shaped card – no ordinary squares or rectangles. This one is going to cheer a cancer patient who likes penguins. I wonder if she’s ever seen a penguin dancing the hula?! I used a bright tropical paper from my retired stash. It’s been a fun task to use up my older supplies. I embossed the penguin and colored with markers and ink to match the paper. The circles are die-cut. The turquoise card base was cut with the die placed slightly past the folded edge, leaving 1 1/4” uncut to make the hinge for the card to open. I added a flower for a tropical embellishment. Aloha! Thanks for looking.

Your friends will love your hula-dancing penguin...whether she has seen one or not. Love how you carried out the tropical theme on your circular card, Diane.
