I tried something new for my background. I Versamarked the black cardstock and heat set it with Clear embossing powder to give it a shiny look with the idea that my clouds created with the Cloudy Day embossing folder would stand out more. I think it worked GREAT!

Gosh, what's not to love about your card!? Everything is gorgeous! Love how you did the cloud background - genius! And the red and black really 'pops' together esp. with the embossing. Definitely into my Favourites and is one of the loveliest Valentine's Day cards I have seen: I bet your husband ♥loved♥ it!

Cute. Love the big hot air balloon. The embossed cloudy sky with the die-cut clouds is so cool. Great colors for a masculine Valentine, but still whimsical & fun. Well done. TFS

Thank you ladies for the kudos on my hubby Valentine card. I was pleased to see how well it worked to use the Versamark and heat embossing to cover a complete layer of a card. Now, I'm thinking I might like to try it with a color! :-)
