With less time to stamp this last half year my supply of Scripture cards has dwindled drastically, trying to replenish it.
The background was one of the samples I made for the recent Tapestry TLC, but I felt the bright colours meant the white stamping didn't show as much as I wanted. But I loved the piece, so yesterday I took it out of my box, dry-embossed it and added narrow tape and coloured glitters to edge it. The verse was stamped on another scrap from my box, some type of direct-to-paper colouring and the Linen stamp. I stamped the verse, framed it with foliage in Mowed Lawn and then die-cut it, and a matching gold layer to mat it on.
The hummingbird is coloured with Twinkling H2Os and popped up on foam. I liked the pairing of something that is in almost perpetual motion with the verse and a reminder to be still. For the flowers, I sponged paper with Candied Apple and Picked Raspberry, and when it had dried, die-cut and shaped the little flowers, adding a pearl in the centre of each. The punched foliage is rubbed with some luster rub-ons.

Everything about this is beautiful Sabrina. I always love your signature borders and how you combine colour and embellishments to add another level of specialness (not sure if that's a word).
