Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to make a project using Night of Navy, Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder, with the dessert option of using designer paper.
This was one of those cards that kept looking like it needed "more," so I just kept adding things until it was time to say "When!"
I cut the flowers from Watermelon Wonder cardstock, and the leaves from Mint Macaron. I sponged each of them with the same color ink to give a little depth and color variation to the die cuts. I arranged them on the white cardstock, and assembled the card. The top looked so empty, with only two flowers and two leaf sprigs. That's when the two leaf sprigs on the right made it onto the card. The bottom looked OK with the DS paper and white greeting, but it needed something on the left, hence the rhinestones. And the flowers still looked "empty" to me, so I filled the white insides of the flowers and leaves and the greeting with Wink of Stella, which is barely visible in the photo.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

this is so pretty Barbara - you called "when" at the perfect point - love the pretty floral images-and the stitched scallop edge really sets them off-the wink of stella shows nicely on your photo and is a great touch
