I was going to go pink with a yellow background to match the image, but my Mom loved yellow roses (she was from Texas...) and this verse is so dear to me when I think of her. It reminds me she is not really gone. She was so lovely and this verse is so lovely was well.
The MIX challenge is hearts so I did a rose in the shape of a heart. Used watercolor pencils, a Micron pen, a gel pen, and a pencil as my mediums.
This also goes a long with the love theme in the Bible Art challenge this month (found in Faith Based Challenges in the forum).

Nancy, I love your yellow rose as well as this wonderful verse of promise! My Mom is also with the Lord and this is a comforting verse for anyone who has lost a loved one in Christ! Thanks for inspiring us and sharing with us your Bible Art Journaling- hugs and I hope you have a blessed week, sweet friend!
