I made this card for my sister's birthday she will celebrate her 50 years, In Holland there is a tradition that when you become 50 you'll see Sarah it would be too long to explain but I made a Sarah in the background of my shadowbox by cutting a 3d layered picture and I made another panel which hides Sarah, and it's written did you see Sarah already? I glued a piece of acetate behind the circle and decorated with a die cut and tag.

Anita, your card is beautiful and your sister will treasure it! I love all the intricate layers. Had to look up "seeing Sarah" sounds like people have a lot of fun with it. Thanks for playing in my challenge from a proud Spunky Old Broad ;)

Beautiful feminine card and Sarah is such a sweet looking Old Soul. I'm assuming The 'Seeing Sarah" celebrations are somewhat like out "Over the Hill" birthdays.

What a way cool card for your sister! It's very lovely and feminine. I'm going to have to go google this Holland tradition, because I'm very curious...

The year I turned 50 I received Sarah cards from my cousins. Good thing I had been in Holland a few months before, so I knew what it was all about.
This card is awesome. The moveable panel is a touch of genius. Your die cut lacy border around the circle is beautiful as is the pretty floral paper.
