Yesterday was National Kite Day and I remembered I had a kite stamp in my stash ♥ I smiled at hearing those words as I remembered my dad teaching us kids to make a kite with sticks from the yard and old newspaper and twine. WOW! We thought those would reach the moon! In hindsight, I doubt they even got off the ground, LOL - but it was a wonderful memory to have ♥

Kelly, you always use the most wonderful combos of designer paper. What a fun, adorable card and a wonderful memory of your childhood days.

Oh, I'm so glad Angie linked this in the Favourites - I love it.
Did you see the Peanuts movie when it came out - and how, for all his own personal kite-flying failures, Charlie Brown was able to help a younger boy to get his kite soaring. Heart-warming . The twine is a great accent to go with the kite.

Congratulations on being the Featured Stamper! I selected this card. It is totally fun. The twine like a kite string is brilliant. Love the bright colors. Love the papers and the scalloped edges. I enjoyed your gallery today! Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards with us and inspiring our own. TFS
