This is for the Try a New Technique Challenge - paper tote bag. It's a new experience for me to make a bag like this one. The first time always has a huge learning curve, although I made mistakes, it was fun and I learned a lot. I think once it's filled out, the mistakes won't get noticed. I selected black as it's my DD's favorite neutral color and I could use up some retired paper. Red is a nice contrast for Valentine's Day.
I'll be giving this to our youngest DD. She is sad that her brother moved out-of-state for a job and her sister got married earlier this month & moved out-of-state. I told her the up side of being the only "kid" at home is that she gets all the perks! I will fill this with gifts and chocolate for Valentine's Day. Thanks for looking!

This came out adorable. I think I will try it & use it form my daughters' valentine goodies too! I love the classic B&W with the red, so stylish!! I don't see any booboos.

What a stunning tote bag this is Diane! I love this black and white polka dot paper with this gorgeous red trim that is so perfect for Valentines (or any time for that matter). This bag looks perfect to me and I would never know there were any mistakes or even a learning curve involved. This is simply stunning my friend! Hugs! ~Karen.
