This is for the Alphabet Challenge letter D. My Ds are Dream, Design, Discover, Dragonflies and Doily. The Double Challenge was 'to think decades'... which I met by using a doily from my mom's craft stash from a good 20 years ago... plus I distressed to make the card look aged.
I had a lot of fun with this one. I've never done a card like this before! It was so relaxing... I can't believe it. No worries about everything being perfect.. The stamp on the left is stamped in Close to Cocoa on misc dp. I then lightly stamped two dragonflies in Pumpkin Pie. One of them didn't stamp very well in the body area... but I was so ok with that! I distressed half a doily and pieced it under that stamped part. There's a bit of polkadot paper peeking out at the top... then a pretty vintage looking paper with roses and butterflies and doilies. That's what I placed the brown cs over with the heat embossed sentiment. I then stamped the main dragonfly in TH DI Walnut Stain. All of the paper edges are torn and distressed with ink.. other than the main cardbase, which I distressed using a distressing tool and then went over it with Close to Cocoa. I made the bow using the bow-easy and added the 3 bronze flatback pearls.
So easy and so much fun! I may have to try some more like this... what do you all think? Thank you so much for looking!! =)

What a gorgeous vintage card that perfectly showcases all the D's for the letter D alphabet challenge. I am stunned this is the first time you have made a card like this because this looks like it was made by a pro! Hugs my friend! ~Karen.
