I am your hostess this week, and IÂ’m challenging you to combine three bright colors: Hello Honey, Rich Razzleberry, and Tempting Turquoise. The dessert option this week is to use a die-cut or punched element on your card.
I wanted to break out my new-to-me Blueprints die set for my second card this week. After spending so much time on card #1, I wanted something quick and easy. Blueprints fill the bill! I followed one of the suggested layouts, and this card was done in no time. I used a black background as my neutral for this card.
My lesson learned this week (for the umpteenth time) is to be sure to use a powder tool before you heat emboss. On card #1, I forgot, and there are white speckles visible. I did much better on this card!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

l love the quilted look you created here, Barbara! And keeping the bg black really makes it pop - plus I love the look of an embossed sentiment (as you can tell by my card)!
