I took my piece of envelope and smooshed some alchol inks on to it. then I dripped on some more and added a couple of drops of alcohol hoping for the ink to bleed. It didn't. Then I added some gesso on the edge of a popsicle stick. I added some copper shimmer spray. Then I stamped the flower in Pacific point. It didn't show up very well so I dabbed on some more gesso in the flower. Of course then I had to let it all dry again. But when I stamped the flower again it at least showed up this time. Stamped the sentiment in black with the MISTI so I could do it a few times to get it nice and black! LOTS of fun!

Of course when you want something to bleed it doesn't......This turned out great..I love how you added the gesso..will have to remember the popsicle stick trick. Pretty card with pretty colors.

So fun - loved reading your adventure - that is what makes creating so fun. Your background is wonderful! Perfect colors for your lovely flower too, Pat. Hugz

Wow, I've never tried alcohol inks on regular paper, must give that a go. It was worth the extra drying time to stamp the flower again on the extra gesso, it really pops now against your beautiful background.
