I had a great time "shopping" Twila's gallery for her Featured Stamper Week. So much diversity and nice bright cheerful colors, which I love. I just can't seem to stop with the punch art for the Featured Stamper challenges. I saw this fun ladybug card and I just had to give it a try: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...6&thumbsonly=0
I cut my ladybug all out of Simon Says stitched circles dies--four different sizes. I'm thinking I should have cut the polka dot and the body the same size, but I made the polka dot the next size up. I don't have that "Flight of the Butterfly" stamp, but I thought that this "Curvy Verses" stamp worked pretty well. Stamped it on vellum and layered it over the DP. Then I added doodle borders and thought that the stitches from the die needed to be accentuated with my white gel pen. Fun card to make and way more feminine than I'm used to , but I'm sure I can find a little girl that will really enjoy it!
