Roberta is our hostess this week and she has chosen: rose red, very vanilla, basic gray and for dessert: a valentine! Mine actually turned out to be a card that could be a valentine, or a wedding or anniversary card.
I die cut the 2 hearts using the SU! Sending Sunshine Wishes dies, then die cut a separate vanilla panel slightly smaller than my card front. Embossed this panel with hearts, die cut a square opening, then also embossed the center square. Attached that to the card front (anticipating where the larger panel was going to be placed). Stamped the sentiment on a thin strip and scored a line at the top and bottom with my scoring tool, attached candy dots for a bit more color. Attached this to the larger panel and then also attached the hearts. Popped up this panel with dimensionals to the card front.

What a lovely card this is Maura. I love all the textures and layers you have incorporated into this wonderful card. How fun that you used 2 colors of hearts and that they extend beyond the frame you made. What a wonderful card for the color challenge. ~Karen.

Lovely valentine! I love all the texture! I could make this for my three year old son. I bought my kids Yellow Submarine, the movie for Christmas and now they go around singing songs from it including "All You Need Is Love".
