Welcome back Audrie! And thank you for the stroll through the Altered Diaries Etsy shop. It was a bit like being in an olde booksellers shop on a narrow cobbled stone street in Paris...
And of course I just HAD to select her Eiffel Tower card. I love the misty color wash of the background heart as well as the collage. I admit to having a few Eiffel images, but none seemed to work as well as this unknown clear stamp. It was in a set of many Paris 'bits'.
First off, I cut my Spellbinders heart using Fabriano, watered color a wash of the hues the artist used on her collage. I am a nervous 'watercolorer' so I kept it light.
Stamped the two postmarks on the right corner...can you see the roses love 2cent stamp (Inkadinkadoo), added Paris on the left. Added a bit of German scrap on the postage collage. Discovered my Tim paper tape was all dried up and unuseable. Guess there is that old adage, USE it or LOSE it...sad. Once I had the heart
complete, I stamped Eiffel again onto the base, popped the heart above and that was that!
Does seeing that beautiful tower evoke sweet memories? I'd love to hear your stories of trips to Paris...I too have loads of memories. This one's for you friend.

Your card is a perfect representation of your inspiration. The Eiffel Tower always evokes great memories of Paris. I only spent 3 days there but it is a magical, romantic city. I'd love to visit again.
