This is for the Alphabet Challenge - Letter A:
Artist, Art, Always Artichoke, Almost Amethyst, and Apricot Appeal
Double Challenge - represent what the Alphabet Challenge means to you.
This is me sitting at my craft table making my Alphabet Challenge card. I'm wearing my Amethyst jumper with my Apricot striped shirt and my Artichoke beret. I'm not fashion minded while stamping. I'm all set to have fun with Letter A. The table looks just like the first craft table I had. Stamping through the alphabet is awesome, I truly enjoy finding out each new letter and coming up with I can use to make my card. On the Alphabet Challenge, I hang out with fellow artists where we share our artwork, have amusing conversation, and admire each other's cards. It's different from the other weekly challenges on SCS with all the chatting. For Letter A, I made this card just for fun. I used the three SU colors that start with "A", plus some neutrals and amused myself coloring in this very detailed image. I didn't worry about mistakes or making it perfect, I just enjoyed.
Inside reads:
"The laundry needs attention, there are dishes in the sink... Who'd guess I'd find such happiness with rubber and some ink!"
Thanks for looking!
Update: I put a story behind this card on the challenge thread - see it here:
OH, my goodness, how perfect for the Alpha challenge this week; letter A and the double challenge of it having to do with the Alphas! This is just great, Diane!

Diane, I love that image!I could look at it for a long time and find something new each moment. From the vintage desk phone, to the ivy plant, from the kitten on the floor and her fuzzy socks, and the crumpled paper in the waste basket and the stamps on the table, it's just delightful. I love how you coloured it with 'A' inks too.
It's wonderful that your DD is going to use your table for her arts too. Like mother, like daughter.

Diane, this card is as delightful as delightful gets!! I absolutely adore this image of you working at your craft table creating the lovely cards you do. I love all the elements in this card; especially this kitty cat at your feet. I laughed out loud at your sentiment because that describes my house perfectly right now. LOL. What a fantastic card this is for the letter A alphabet challenge, and how fun to learn this story too! Hugs! ~Karen.
