I want to share this card, because of all the cards I have ever made, this is my favorite.
This is not a new card. It is the card I made for David for Valentine's Day the year he died.
I drew the birds by hand and cut them out. I cut out scrolls for the feathers and drew lines in them to make them more interesting. The only stamp I used is the "love" sentiment. Finally I drew a border around the edge of the card.

Thank you for sharing such a special card, Hilde. I think those flourishes make the most wonderful tails (and feathers) for your birds. This looks a little like a Scandinavian embroidery design to me.
What a lovely card and heartwarming post, love that you draw it, that's one of the most challenging things to do for me! Thanks so much for sharing it with us!
