Hi all this card is for Judy's TLC challenge. I have chosen the 14th March which is my eldest girls exact birthday. 1:30 pm on the 14th March 1974 to be exact, I'll let you do the math.
The technique is wonderful and I think it has become one of my favourites.
The thing I love about this technique is you can control where the colour goes on your card stock.
I cut out the card panel I wanted then placed it under the acetate. I then scribbled the colour onto the acetate exactly where I wanted it to go using the card stock underneath as a guide. I spritzed the acetate with water from a mini mister and then carefully removed the card stock and placed it onto the acetate in the same position... and there it is.
The tulips were coloured using the watercolour marker technique using an aqua brush and then fussy cut and mounted onto some craft foam.
I used my new Misti to position the greeting stamp prior to mounting the tulip image with PVA glue and that's all folks, loved, loved, loved doing this and am really happy with the result.
The inspiration comes from the current SU catalogue page 200
Cheers Marg
