Oops!! I have butter fingers today. I accidentally uploaded the card before completing the information! My card is for Stef's (SmilynStef) Inspiration Challenge for today. Stef picked a great site from which to draw inspiration.
This photo inspired me. I love the red and gold in the woman's dress and its high collar. I thought the red die cut panel would be a good representation of the high collar as well as reflecting the color of her dress. I used SU Brush Gold Card Stock to reflect the gold in the dress. I also used SU Gold Metallic Tape behind the red panel. To the left of the card, I added ribbon flowers and some beads above and below the flowers.
TFL!

Bev, this id EXTRAORDINARY!! You certainly captured the richness in both texture and color of your chosen period dress and translated it into paper. Really a gorgeous card.

What a rich looking card with that royal red and the sparkly gold bg. The fancy cut out centerpiece is very eyecatching and the rose and beaded accents are inspried! WOWZA!
