CC616 - Mary's Color Challenge with dessert to use something new. The denim ink was good for the jar; that left the pear and melon colors for the stems and flowers - perfect. The flowers are two-step stamping. First, I stamped off for the base and stamped full for the added details. I used chalk inside the jar for `water'. The Jar of Love set & matching Framelits are brand new. Not too bad for a first time. I've been itching to use them, but I've been so busy planning DD's wedding (3 days away now). Today I needed a little paper therapy to relax. Thanks Mary for the fun colors and the nudge to get out my new toys.
WT617 - Something old, new, borrowed, blue - Thanks Sabrina for the creative challenge.
Old - Pastels have been a staple in my stash for a long time, but rarely used anymore.
New - Jar of Love stamps and matching Framelits
Borrowed - Color Combo inspiration from the Color Challenge
Blue - Dapper Denim ink, blue chalk and blue denim paper
I had fun breaking in these new items! Now I am calm, relaxed & ready for the wedding rehearsal tonight. Thanks for the fun challenges and for looking at my card.

How delightful!!! What a sweet card! I love your coloring and I'm dying to obtain that Denim ink! Love it! I love the three strips behind your darling image. I want flowers like that! Nicely done, GF!

What a cute jar of flowers. Love the denim, checked, and other paper...thought it was Washi tape, at first. I can image you did need some paper therapy while planning a wedding. I'm sure it will be beautiful. Hang in there.

I hope the wedding (and rehearsal) go smoothly, always a stressful time, so I'm glad you were able to take time out for some paper therapy... and what a beautiful CAS design. The country feel of those papers is perfect with the jar of flowers.

Oh I love the way you used washi tape behind the main focus - and your jar of flowers are beautifully done!!

With her wedding so close, I'm amazed you had your marbles together enough to stamp. Although, I find it therapy, and I bet you do too. I love the jar with the posies, but the three layers (esp. the green) behind the jar took my eye too. Good luck this weekend!
