Another great challenge from Sabrina! I made two cards today, because I was in need big time for masculine birthday cards. This challenge turned out perfect for them.
Something old: DP for BG, water, and fish. I've had this DP since I started scrapbooking about 15 years ago.
Something new: Poppystamps Stitched Landscape dies are brand new and never used. My stitched cloud trio is also still very new and exciting although I've used it once before and my Tombow markers are also still new and exciting.
Something borrowed: the coloring book page image.
Something blue: sky, water, jeans, beer can
For this one I started by deciding I would use the stitched rectangle die on the main panel, then I decided to put the main panel down below the stitched landscape water. I loved this DP with the cattails and the "Fishin' Today" signs, so I added that to the BG. And handlettered the sentiment with my Tombows. In the end I felt like the bottom needed something so I added the crooked strip of fish.
Not sure why this old paper has hung around so long. I love it and I think it's that BG paper that made me love this card more than the other one.

Both your new dies and your old papers are lovely! Relaxing - hmm, I wonder would he even notice if the fish started biting. What a great masculine birthday card, something I never find easy.

Oh my goodness I love the image and I love the horded DP you have since you started stamping. LOL! I have some that might be just as old. It is fun to go back in our stashes to see what fun stuff we have. Super cute card.
