WT617 = old wedding adage: "Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue"
Old = PTI love birds set
New = CC Designs leafy branch dies
Borrowed = layout from a ctorina card years ago. Sorry I don't have the link, but the card was embedded in my brain with the wide MS punched borders top and bottom.
Blue = bg dotted DP
Anniversary card for friends....Sabrina's theme got me moving on this card.

What lovely new dies, Sallie; they frame the birdcage beautifully. And yes, I think I remember seeing a fad of Cathleen's with that deep border and thinking how striking it was, so I'm not surprised that it would have stayed with you, a perfect "borrow" for today, the openwork look so well matched with the birdcage.

A wonderful anniversary card, Sallie. I do remember the card you borrowed from and how awesome it was, too. Love your pretty flowers.

Sallie, this is beautiful. So many gorgeous details here. That lattice border is awesome when used both top and bottom. I love the polka dot dp and also the lovely die cut leaves and flowers. Birds are always a great anniversary image.
