Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us three lovely colors to combine, Dapper Denim, Melon Mambo, and Pear Pizzazz, plus the dessert option to use something new.
I saw a recent by Heather North, in which she used the Joseph's Coat technique. I decided to give it a try. I will say that this is not my favorite card ever, even after I tried to dress it up with ribbon, rhinestones, sequins, and a butterfly. Win some, lose some. I think the Joseph's Coat technique would work better with very bright colors, and I might give it a try sometime. Here's a link to the technique tutorial on SCS.
I did go for this week's dessert option, using the scalloped rectangle die from Blueprints 27, which was a Christmas present from me to me!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!
