Today's challenge - use something new . . . I just got this Wine themed EF while waiting for all my new dies to come in the mail.
I embossed a piece of white cardstock but decided this needed a little color too. I used chalks applied with a cotton ball (& swab in smaller areas) It still didn't pop my image as much as I wanted so brought out the Twinkling H20's to add some deeper colors plus some sparkle & shine. Frame my piece with grape cardstock first punched with the corner adorner then edged with a deckle scissors and mounted onto the white cardbase. (Inside sentiment - Like a fine wine - you only get better with age).
This Embossing folder proved to be a bit trickier to work with than I anticipated when I bought it BUT I'm okay with this for a first attempt. We'll see in the days ahead and more experimenting if it was a good investment . . .

I'd like a slice of that cheese, to go with my "whine" about turning 65 this year!!! Great card.
Just because it was HANDMADE does not mean it was CHEAP, because why send a store-bought card that cost $4.95 when you can make it yourself for $89 worth of supplies?
