My Inspired Card was inspired by a really cool rainbow bird/eagle on a dark background.
The assembly of the hot air balloon I thought was going to be atrocious. When this set arrived at my house and I looked at all the dies in person I started having Occasions pre-order regrets BUT making this card put me on the `I love the Hot Air Balloon' train! So I promise with a fine tip glue pen this balloon is really simple to make, especially with all the colors because each section has its own die and you just use scrap pieces and you can cut the whole thing in one big shot pass, which is my type of time saving crafty fun!!
Double clouds..... this is yet another example of me being not perfect and accepting the imperfections. I had not used my craft ink in some time (shame on me!). I didn't realize it was so dry and when I stamped on the black (which is card base) it was very faint and I didn't want to trash it. I just continued with the faint clouds and then re-inked my craft pad and tried to stamp the clouds over top the original cloud (hard to do without photopolymer). I ended up with these cool shadow clouds.
I picked out gold, black and clear stars from the Metallic Sequins to have a different texture. The picture isn't great showing them off but it works.
So the balloon is REALLY bright and the background is REALLY dark. I would recommend maybe trying the balloon outline in one of the grays. Or just say the super moon is reflecting on the balloon and that's why it's so bright (psst, that's what I'm telling anyone who makes a comment to me about it). Thanks for checking out my card!

I think the bright balloon on the dark background looks awesome (makes the balloon pop) and so do your "shadow" clouds! Don't you love it when you have an "oops" that turns into an "aha"?
