| | I made this card for the I Alphabet Challenge for Icy (the glass bead glitter gel makes the snowman look extra icy and the glitter snowflakes look icy too). Using a Hot Off the Press snowflake stencil, lightly sponge silver ink through the stencil onto the main image panel and allow to dry for about 5 minutes. Now, position the Dream Weaver snowman stencil over the sponged snowflakes and secure with postit notes. Ink up the snowman image with a finger sponge dauber and various SU inks. Leave the stencil in place and allow the ink to dry for about 5 minutes. Then spread the glass bead glitter gel over the inked image. Immediately remove stencil and place in warm soapy water and allow the image panel to dry for at least 8-12 hours. Cut a mat layer, and adhere 1/4" Elizabeth Crafts Score Tape around outer edges. Pour glitter onto tape and rub in with finger. Die cut snowflakes, use 2-way glue pen on each snowflake and immediately pour Dazzling Diamonds glitter on top and allow to dry. Heat emboss sentiment and assemble card. |
