This is for Carey's Sketch Challenge. Great layout!
I have been having fun this past year using up retired papers and older things. It's stretching me to incorporate old patterns into my designs and hopefully give them an updated look. The dove piece I used is one I had made a for a Christmas card candy swap years ago. I curled up some silver cord under it and raised it on Dimensionals. The sentiment is embossed in silver, die-cut and layered with a second die-cut banner in Navy. Fun card to make and I used up some things. Thanks for looking.

Gosh, Diane, what a beautiful card this is. I love this wonderful peace dove you have used from your stash that looks brand new on this glittery layer. The hint of twine behind the dove is really a fantastic touch too. I love the angle layers you created and how you angled your sentiment too! Hugs! ~Karen.

Your bits & pieces have come together to make a beautiful cardand the silver & blue makes such a peaceful combo. . . . and bravo for working through your stash - I too, have been trying to do that . . and just when I make some headway I inherit MORE from 'retired' stamping friends.
