oh, Polly! Your challenge brought back many dear memories with Raymond Briggs' delightful Snowman.
We loved that dear book and would highly recommend it as an 'unplugging' activity with loved ones.
My biggest cheerleader (DH) did not get my card. I was so disappointed. So the pressure is on...please tell me you got it!
Tis a simple card...tore my yardstick to create a rough edge and glittered it with that fabulous MS 'Snow Glitter'. The sentiment was inked on the downhill slope just waiting for the teeny tiny snowball to begin it's journey down the hill!
The world is indeed your snowball...gather momentum. Getting going is the hardest part!
Thanks so much for stopping by...have you checked out VSN...16 awesome challenges and you can hear Christmas music and snippets of Christmas movies. You have until Dec 25 to upload. Check it out!!!

I understand it completely! I've spent many hours sledding as a child and sometimes as an adult. It reminds me of last winter when I went sledding with my nephews...I really wanted to go down the hill but at a certain age (hmm, hmm)....I approached it with trepidation...but after I took the plunge it reminded me of the wonder and exhilaration of racing down that hill...last year for me a real life experience but also a metaphor for life. Thanks for the inspiration Susan...
