I am too late to make last week's sketch challenge before the new one came out, but I am running two weeks behind so this is really early - right?
Can I just say that this is one of my all time favorite sketches? It is stuck in my head so you may see it again soon. The DRS Designs Christmas Village stamps are so perfect for it - I used a few of them here trying to capture a peaceful walk in the village to get a Christmas Tree. I know the people are dressed a few decades prior to tree stand shack but the reason they are dressed this way is they are in the local theatre doing a vintage Christmas play and they are trying to generate excitement about it. Anyway, that is my story and I am sticking to it.
Many hugz!!!

Awesome Nancy. I thought of a Dickens Christmas when I saw the card. I like the way you used the images and it seems to tell s story to me of times gone by. My mind wonders (not just here, lol) to a time when sleighs were pulled by horses and women where dressed in yards and yards of fabric. Now you have my head spinning with some small images I've never been able to use and how to put them in a card. You know I've always had your back, so consider yourself early on the sketch. Lol I'll bring up the rear.

This is terrific, Nancy! Love all the images and the wonderful, Christmas background! I also love the plaid border and use of music. You included everything on this card!

I love the story your card is telling! The background is beautiful with its fresh green and pops of red! I like the way the light strings on your background is echoed in your little vignettes! Super card!

What a fun and pretty take on the sketch! Your gallery is full of gorgeous cards but this one really caught my eye. Your story about the actors parading around in vintage apparel to promote their play is too clever! TFS!
