For the cookies today, I wanted to make real cookies so I made Dutch "Kruidnoten" and I'm going to give you the receipt
first I talk about my card, a twited easel with a fussy cut 3d image with gingerbread cookies and the bumper is real cinnamon and dried rose buds and anis the DP on the bottom is paper with spices receipt
and here is my favorite receipt for cookies

2 1/2 oz brown sugar
1 1/2 oz caster
2 tea spoons mixture of spices of your choice
4 1/2 oz self-rising flour
1 1/2 table spoon milk
you mix the butter with the sugar and add the spices, then the flour and the milk

Those biscuits sound delicious, and I bet they tasted good too. I really like the spice and rosebuds on the card... it will smell as good as the biscuits.

What a Yummy card - I love the assortment of spices and rosebuds you fashioned for a bumper.
I was reading over your recipe too - but came across an ingredient I am not familiar with . . What is caster??
