Cookie Challenge - This was a favorite of mine as a kid and of my children & grands too! It makes a HUGE amount of cookies but the recipe could easily be cut in half or quarters . . . These cookies freeze well so I use to make a batch early in the spring and freeze them for use all summer so I didn't have to heat the kitchen then.

Linda, your cute monsters are adorable on the recipe card. I bet one of your children or grands would adore getting this. Your cookies sound yummy, smart idea to bake a big batch in the spring! Thanks for bringing cookies to the Cookie Exchange!

LOL, yes, as soon as I saw 12 eggs I was wondering however many cookies this must make!! I totally agree with butter not margarine. And the monsters are cute! I love the one with the cookie in his tummy.

How cute is this! Love the monsters to decorate the monster cookie recipe card. Love the bright colors. I like how you stamped them randomly. The one with the cookie in the belly is so cute. TFS

Not only are your monsters fun, but depending on the other ingredients besides the oatmeal, they might be something for folks/children who have to be gluten-free. Really a cute recipe card...worthy of reproducing at Kinko's when you gift someone with a batch.

Oh my goodness I was reading the recipe and thinking that has to be a ton of cookies. Then I read your description...wowza that must take a whole year to eat them all. Super cute card! I am going to have to try this recipe.
