This is for the y-awning challenge and made a little shop card.
This is very personal for me as someday I would like to open my own shop and call it "Fleurish", (Fleur-the French word for flower).
Using 3 stamps from the set- I stamped the shuttered window on A2 size CS. Next the girl & cat w/flowerpot, on another piece of card stock. Then colored them with a variety of colors. I then cut the canopy in a French script DP and scalloped the bottom with scissors.
I spelled out Fleurish using Hero Arts alphabet and stamped on ivory CS with TH ink-gathered twigs.
Using a blending tool, I aged the edges of the Fleurish sign & the scallop of the canopy.
I cutout 3 more flower pots to finish the bottom half of the card, using dimensional dot one of the pots and the sign. I need to practice more with my coloring/shading techniques; all in all, this was really a fun project!

Jeannie this is so cute. Thanks for the great detailed description, I had a chuckle at your colouring/shading...you don't need anymore practice!! I love this to bits.

French is my second language, I got your wonderful shop name straight away. Oh I do hope your dream comes true. Those window shutters ate very French looking, and your flower shop is just so sweet. The big cat is a cutie!
p.s. We don't get notifications to responses on comments, so unless Susie comes back to visit Fleurish again she may not see your reply. The gallery doesn't work the same as the forum.
