This is my sample for CC612. Barbara is our hostess and she has chosen cherry cobbler, pool party and mossy meadow for her color trio. Dessert is to have some snow on your card. I am using basic gray and silver as my neutrals this week.
My bells and holly are dies from CottageCutz. I cut the bells in silver and then sponged in basic gray to give them a bit of a vintage look. I thought my dsp had that vintage look to it. The dsp is from the Stampin’-Up “epic day this and that collection”. It’s a pool party background with touches of basic gray. I layered this panel with basic gray cardstock.
My sentiment is from the Stampin’-Up “all year cheer” set. I sponged pool party and a bit of basic gray on whisper white cardstock and then stamped the sentiment in cherry cobbler ink. I used a toothbrush and flicked on white acrylic paint. I am counting this as my snow for dessert. Used the CottageCutz stitched rounded rectangles to cut it out.
To finish off my card I added some holly in the corner. I touched each holly berry with some glossy accents.
ThatÂ’s it for me for this week. If you are still working on your Christmas cards like I am this color scheme is perfect for Christmas. Check out the other DT cards for more inspiration. Or, here is a link to our Pinterest color challenge Board. All the DT samples are over there.

I love the silver bells and holly on this card--so festive! I also love the ds paper--it's perfect with the design. Love the stitched rounded label, and the snowflake splatters! Lovely card!

The "flicked" white paint totally counts for dessert. I love it! I can't seem to do this toothbrush technique. I think I need more practice, because I always love the look. Stunning Christmas card, Mary!
