My card for the Very Wild and Real color challenge-shown here closed!
I cut a card base from Real Red, & trimmed off 1" from the right side of the card front. I inked the Antique Cracking stamp with VersaMark ink & stamped it on the card front only.
I adhered a 1-1/4" strip of the patterned paper along the right side of the inside of the card. This pic shows the card closed, so you can see the patterned strip.
I stamped the Christmas Poster stamp in Real Red on Very Vanilla, and trimmed a small border. Layered this on a Wild Wasabi panel, and adhered it to the card front.
I stamped the cup of cocoa (sorry, I don't remember the name of the set it comes from, it's a very old one!) in Real Red on Very Vanilla CS, & punched out with the 1" circle punch. Then punched a 1-1/4" circle out of Wild Wasabi, & layered the cup of cocoa on that. I attached it on top of the patterned paper on the card inside with dimensional tape, leaving the left side of the circle "untaped", so that the edge of the card front fits just under the circle, holding the card closed.
I added some bling for sparkle, as well as Wink of Stella on letters in JOY and NOEL, & also the little heart & the steam on the cup of cocoa! It looks better IRL...the pic doesn't pick up the WoS!
Fun challenge, I love this color combination for Christmas cards! TFL!
