The card base and top layer are StampinÂ’Up! Shimmery White Cardstock. I love this cardstock for any watercolor technique. It has a very faint shimmery coating that allows the ink to bleed softly and creates such great dimension.
The bottom layer is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″ and the top panel is 5 x 3 3/4″. I like the larger frame it creates on a simple card and think it helps pop the main image
The flowers, leaves and greeting are stamped in Real Red, Crushed Curry and Wild Wasabi.
I used my StampinÂ’Up! spritzer filled with water and lightly misted the stamped images. I like to start out with a light touch, blot dry and then spray again. I find this keep me from being too heavy handedÂ…..which just creates a look like someone cried thru their mascaraÂ…..messy and sad.
The use of dimensionals is a must to help this top panel stand along and not need anymore embellishment.
