Although I live 20 minutes from Disneyland, I rarely go there. The last time I went was 16 years ago when my sons were 3 and 5. We got stuck for 20 minutes in the final section of It's A Small World, where hundreds of midiget like animated people screech a song in multiple languages on the top of their lungs. Not a positive experience for a claustrophobic mom who hates loud noises and crowds. So, my fantasy land enchanted forest looks a little like something from Harry Potter. I have to leave for work, so I will try to add how I made it tonight.

So happy to see you in Teapotterland today, Francie. And oh my, I think I'd agree with you, crowds and noise I do not like, I'd go as far as saying I think excessive noise is almost like a physical assault. This has a wonderful surreal moody feel - it's a bit like one of those infrared (or is it ultraviolet?) photos. And although there's no greenery, the haze of blue in the woods makes me think of bluebells in the Spring here - when you're lucky enough to find a forest with them, it's like pools of blue water in among the trees.

I love your card! So beautifully done with the different colors and fairy silhouette. I can completely identify with your experience on It's a Small World. We went to Universal last April (May?) and I had a major panic attack when we got stuck on the Harry Potter ride and they had cinched my harness seat belt so tight I felt I couldn't breathe. Plus my head was slamming against the sides of it when it was going, so basically not a fun thing.

Oh wow Francie this is increcible. I love the textured feel to your amazing background and trees to create an enchanted forest. Your little fairy looks perfect sitting quietly in the moonlight. I love this so much!! We are of kindred spirits, I hate rides, noise and crowds too.

First off..that's a lot of leaves! You have patience my dear. What a magical scene..the colors are amazing and I love the illusion of the mist around the moon and fairy. Very creative!

Awesome! Your forest is a nice, quiet place.....what a terrible experience you had for a claustrophobic person. I feel your pain. Don't pin me up anywhere!!!!!!!!
