This is also a tag for Papertrey Ink's "Make-It-Monday #268"...a double layer gift tag presented by Dawn McVey.
With watercolor paper, the shape was die cut. I heat embossed the holly image with clear EP and then watercolored with reinkers and an aqua brush. The sentiment was embossed with gold EP and touches of Wink of Stella for sparkle were added to the leaves. This tag was placed on top of the lower one(where the "to and from" are stamped) and tied together with fibers and ribbon. Some of the gold fibers would also add sparkle.

Sallie, I love the idea of the double layer tag, and your execution is so pretty! I love all the heat embossing and watercoloring, as well as the pretty gold cord and ribbon. The person who gets this tag on her gift is extra lucky!
