My MOJO and free time never seem to appear at the same time. I had some free time last night, but my MOJO was hiding under the bed. There is a type of card that requires no MOJO or talent...you can make it in your sleep. This is a card that relies completely on a simple technique and the challenges. I can't remember what this technique is called, but you cover cs with silver duct tape, choose any ef that is easy to get to, and run it through the Big Kick.....Georgia the ginormous German Shepherd could have done this part, only she is not into crafts like Dolly the insomniac dog was. The next completely mindless step is to use whatever colors are listed in this week's CC - red, gold and white are this week's colors. Drop alcohol ink over your metal embossed piece of cs until it looks good. At this point my MOJO peeked out from under the bed for just a second and whispered that I should rub gold stickies over the embossed cs for a little more sparkle. The next step that required no thought processes was to use this werk's SC to assemble the card. The flowers are digi stamps that were colored with copics and fussy cut. I can honestly say that I did not use a single brain cell to make this card, which is why it was fun to do...no stress. It has a lot of sparkle IRL. TFL, Francie

One of my all-time favourite embossing folders. I have three that I keep together because I use them more than any others. I know how marvellous this must look with the alcohol inks and sparkle. We need a little "sparkle" tool on cameras to take good photos of shimmer and shine, LOL.

Love that technique description - I will have to try it soon. My Mojo and free time rarely line up either - my best stuff is done in little increments. This is a very cool card with stunning details, and I so glad you played with us. Hugz

LOL I didn't want your funny story to end Francie. I love the embossing technique you used and how you came to use this great colour combo and layout. You are so talented Francie that your mojo is allowed to have a day off and you still create something arty and extra special.

I love the embossed foil panel, it is always so elegant on a card and the ink added looks amazing. Finishing if off with the gold stickles really makes it shine beautifully. I think your mojo was doing more than peeking from under that bed. Super stunning card.
