I stamped and colored the bird, die cut it. Die cut the pine branch and cones, and added darker brown spots to the cones. Die cut the white mat and green frame, stamped the sentiment and assembled all the pieces onto a white base.
I make cards and bird watch - simultaneously. Our house is in the middle of two acres of woods and I create cards in front of a picture window. We have 6 nesting boxes, 6 feeders (each with a different kind of seed), two worm feeders and 3 suet feeders. We have variety of beautiful birds.

What a great view you have while crafting! I always love the way you use color on your birds! What a fabulous job you did on this. You create some magnificent highlights with your chameleon pens. That bird is just adorable.

This gorgeous card makes me smile. This fluffy bird is just so "tweet" and colored so beautifully. I love how you did these pine branches and added color to the pine cones. Your fabulous sentiment and beautifully detailed frame are the perfect finishing touches on this fabulous card. I love knowing that you and I craft in much the same manner with lots of nature around us- and in the woods! Fun! ~Karen.

First, I want to sit at your garden window, Priscilla. It sounds lovely. This card is gorgeous. The colors are so bright and fresh. The pine cones turned out great.

This is such a pretty card with a lovely birdy sitting on a branch. I too love to sit and watch the birds. At the moment there is a rather sick cockatoo hogging one of my bird baths (I have three of them in the backyard). I am keeping it filled with nice clean water for him. He doesn't look too good at the moment and I wonder if he will be there in the morning. I can only imaging the different type of birds you get over there - so different from the ones we have here.
